Gender Sway The Cosmic Way
In just 4 short years, we've written four books, created a best selling gender sway app, and most importantly created a method that now boasts an incredible accuracy rate of 95%! We're so proud of what we've achieved, we have helped hundreds of families fulfil their dreams of having a baby girl or a baby boy.
What Is Gender Swaying?
How to Increase Your Chances of Conceiving Your Preferred Gender — Naturally
What Is Gender Swaying?
Gender swaying is the name commonly given to natural methods used by families who would like to try to increase their chances of conceiving a girl or a boy. Unlike IVF with embryo testing, gender swaying does not involve medical sex selection. Instead, it works around natural conception and can include fertility tracking, timing, lifestyle changes and other factors depending on the method being followed.
At Cosmic Sway Method®, we take a much more personalised approach. We combine fertility tracking and biology with the lunar and astrological timing research we have developed over many years. Rather than giving every woman the same set of “girl days” or “boy days”, we look at the individual woman and her own fertility and timing patterns.
The Cosmic Sway Method® Approach
Our research into natural gender selection began in 2015. One of the biggest problems we found with traditional gender-swaying advice was that almost everything was presented as though the same rules should work for everybody. But women do not have identical cycles, ovulate on identical days or conceive under identical circumstances. So we began looking much deeper. Over the years we studied fertility, conception timing, birth charts, lunar patterns and pregnancy outcomes, gradually building what became the Cosmic Sway Method®. By 2021, the method had developed into the multi-layered system we use today. It isn't based on one Moon sign, one calendar or one rule. We look at several factors together and, where appropriate, compare those timings with the woman's actual fertile window. That personalised element is a huge part of our method.
How Does Gender Swaying Work?
Gender swaying cannot guarantee whether you will conceive a girl or a boy. Ultimately, biological sex is determined at fertilisation. What swaying attempts to do is identify circumstances and timings that may be more favourable to one outcome than another. With Cosmic Sway Method®, we don't rely on one theory alone. We look at fertility and ovulation alongside the different timing layers within our method to identify whether a particular cycle appears more masculine, feminine or neutral. This is also why we don't believe generic “girl days” and “boy days” tell the whole story. A date that looks good for one woman may not be the strongest date for another. And sometimes the best advice for a particular cycle is simply not to try that month.
Where Did Gender Swaying Come From?
People have tried to influence the sex of their babies for centuries. There are ancient calendars, dietary theories, timing theories and, more recently, methods based on ideas about sperm behaviour around ovulation. You may have heard of methods such as Shettles, O+12, Chinese gender calendars or Moon-sign timing. We researched many of these approaches during the development of Cosmic Sway Method®. Some ideas became useful starting points for further research, while others simply didn't match what we were seeing in real pregnancies and conception patterns. That is why our method continued to change and develop rather than staying tied to one traditional theory.
What About Diet?
Diet is probably one of the areas we are asked about most. There are some extremely restrictive gender-sway diets online, and over the years we have seen women become frightened to eat normal foods because they believe one meal could “ruin” their sway.
That isn't an approach we support. Fertility and your general health come first. Diet is therefore not a core part of the Cosmic Sway Method®. If somebody chooses to make dietary changes as part of their own sway, our preference is always for sensible, balanced changes that do not compromise nutrition or fertility.
Gender Swaying vs IVF Sex Selection
These are two completely different things. IVF sex selection involves creating embryos through IVF and, where legally available, testing embryos before transfer. Gender swaying involves natural conception and does not determine the sex of an embryo in advance.
It is also important to be realistic: natural gender swaying cannot provide certainty. For families who do not want, cannot access or cannot afford medical sex selection, however, swaying can offer a way of approaching conception with more planning than simply leaving everything to chance.
Why We Created Cosmic Sway Method®
For us, gender swaying has never just been about handing somebody a date and sending them away. We know how emotional this journey can become. Some women come to us before trying for another baby. Others have several children of the same sex already. Some have been following internet sway advice for months and have reached the point where they don't know what they should or shouldn't be doing anymore. We wanted to make it easier to understand. Today, Cosmic Sway Method® includes our books, personalised sway support, fertility and timing research, digital tools, Cycle Aligned® and a community of thousands of women sharing their experiences and supporting one another. Our method has continued to develop as our research has grown, and it will continue to evolve as we learn more.
Starting Your Gender Sway
You do not need to do everything at once. Start by understanding your cycle. Learn when you actually ovulate rather than relying purely on an app prediction. Give yourself time to understand the method, ask questions and decide which parts of swaying feel right for you.
And if you want personalised support, that is exactly what we are here for. Gender swaying cannot promise you a girl or a boy but it can give you a much more considered way to approach your next conception. Cosmic Sway Method® is provided for educational and planning purposes and does not constitute medical advice or guarantee conception or the sex of a baby.
